B2 Networks And MIAA Announce Multi-Year Deal

Partnership Debuts Saturday With Complete Football Schedule 

 

 

Kansas City, MO   -  Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Commissioner Jim Johnson announced Tuesday that the MIAA and B2 Networks have reached a multi-year agreement making B2 the exclusive home for broadband broadcasts of all MIAA athletics. The partnership takes effect immediately as a full slate of MIAA football games are scheduled for broadcast this Saturday to collegiate athletic fans around the world.

"We are thrilled to have reached an agreement with B2 as the new home for MIAA broadband broadcasts," Johnson said. "MIAA fans will enjoy a quality viewing experience with a variety of options in terms of costs and time. B2 has a platform that offers an option for all viewers."

With the new partnership, all MIAA schools will broadcast exclusively on B2 Networks. Fans will have more choices than ever to follow their favorite teams with season passes, B2onDemand and the new MIAA channel on www.b2cabletv.com  will showcase the best games and athletes all year long. Football will be emphasized this weekend as the new broadcast system debuts. Volleyball, men's and women's basketball and other events will be added to the schedule in the upcoming weeks. 

Fans wanting to watch MIAA events on B2 Networks will need a high speed Internet connection and a current version of windows Media Player. Games can be accessed through the league website, individual school sites or www.b2tv.com .
